Objectives

Radio for Two is a repeat customer. Previously we have redesigned the logo and the entire brand identity of the company. A new design inspired them to create a whole new more modern and more attractive to listeners an advertisers website. This is what had to be done...

PROTOTYPING

Traditionally, we began with a detailed analysis. Conducted a survey, studied the competitors, and only after began to create the structure of the radio site.

We have implemented a dynamic menu on the left that always stays on the screen. Decided to keep the structure simple because users mainly visit to listen to their favorite songs and read the news. We have placed these sections at the top of the menu, following other sections Promotions, Podcasts, Videos, Team, and About us below.

Online you can listen to the broadcast in real-time through the built-in player.
A simple interface and clean architecture made it possible to create a website that loads consistently fast, does not freeze, and is displayable across all devices.

DESIGN

Our brief was to create a modern minimalist web design.
Initially, we created two versions of the homepage design - in the dark and light palette - to choose from. The client went for a light background color so we designed the remaining pages following the agreed design.

MOBILE & TABLET EXPERIENCE

After the designed desktop version we adapted each page to be mobile-friendly. Now radio fans can stay tuned on the go.

DETAILS

During the process of making a website for Radio for Two we stuck closely to one important aspect: the website is not only for live streams but also to monetize advertising space.

Therefore we paid special attention to the ability to insert a range of banner advertisements. The new design has an editable block structure that allows quick ads management with a banner of any size without breaking the overall style.

We also added an ability to transform any element into an ad unit. For example, during a campaign period, customers can change the News section to an advertising banner.
